Photo of the Day 4/20/2012 - Grandma and Tammy

I have many memories of growing up, but most are from later days. Memories of Grandmas and Grandpas, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

There are fleeting impressions of my early days and I can't be certain if they are real or imagined. I do recall fragments of Grandma Joan and days surrounding my early childhood. I remember sugar cubes snuck from a cupboard, the smell of my Grandpa Forth's pipe, of Tammy, a kind and gentle dog. This photo and more to come, prove I was indeed there and since I was, I believe I was surrounded by love.

Brian Bear,
I knew your Grandma & Grandpa Forth, they were both very kind. Joan was the classiest woman I had ever met. She was gentle & gave you her complete attention when you were in conversation with her. I really appreciated that due to the fact that I was #13 in my family! Can't understand why my parents were so distracted! The Forths invited us kids to swim in their luxurious fiber clad pool. You could swim for hours and never get those little sores on your fingertips! They even had a greenhouse in the way back of their yard. That's where I saw an orchid for the first time. They're still a favorite of mine. Tammy was so sweet, I loved to lay on the floor with her! You have brought all of us so much joy. I love you.
