This photo was taken Pre-9/11. I'm not certain that water balloon launchers are considered weapons of mass destruction, though it may seem that way if you are on the receiving end. I don't know that Carpinteria State Park Rangers would condone this sort of entertainment.
In this classic "shot", seemingly ordinary citizens are transformed into warriors. I don't recall who the quarry was, but I can assure you this team doesn't miss. Mom and Dad secured the device, Grandma Jo delivered the coordinates, and Joan supplied the needed trajectory.
